Caliginous will have to cross the vast White Desert to parley with the Sacred Arkaadus. As he makes the journey alone, the Krune infection races towards him from the western end of the continent. Thousands have died, and millions more remain displaced. It is up to Caliginous, as the emissary of truth, to uncover the cause of this world-wide catastrophe. His three-legged beetle follows with precious cargo, as he falters for a moment to observe early signs of dusk tenderly caressing the clouds. Nightfall in the White Desert is a terrible time indeed.
